Tourist Visa to Turkmenistan

Requirements

Provide your signed original passport book.
NOTE: Your valid passport book must have at least six months of remaining validity and at least one blank page in it.
One (1) completed Visa Application Form.
NOTE: improperly completed forms may delay the processing of your visa. The signature on each visa application must be original.
Copy of 1st page (showing bearer’s details and signature), arranged in a way that it fits vertically into the upper half part of a standard Letter Size paper (8.1/2×11)
One (1) passport pictures in color, front view and with a plain/light background
Letter of Authorization to process your visa.
Complete the IAG Customer Order Form
Letter Of Invitation from Turkmenistan: For private visits, a Letter of Invitation from the host in Turkmenistan, certified by the State Foreign Citizens Registration Service. Otherwise, the invitation can be provided by an authorized travel agency in Turkmenistan.
Computer generated flight itinerary from the airline or a travel agency or copy of airline ticket.
A signed letter on the travel agency’s letterhead confirming round-trip booking may also be acceptable.
Persons planning to stay in Turkmenistan for more than 3 months need to present HIV certificate from a doctor.

Consular Visa Processing Fee: Fees must be paid in US dollars with either a money order or cashier’s check made payable to the “Embassy of Turkmenistan”

Visas are usually valid for 10 days to 12 months based on the invitation and consular fees paid with consulate’s discretion

Additional Requirements

If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, you must first submit your passport to have pages added, or if your passport expires within six months, you must first renew your passport. Please call us to assist you with obtaining or renewing your passport, or adding pages to your existing passport book. We can secure your visa using the added pages or new passport.

Non US-passport holders, temporary foreign visitors with a valid US visa, or foreign residents with legitimate status in the US may apply for a visa to Turkmenistan. Applicants in these categories must send a photocopy of their US Green Card, Work Permit, I-20 Form, valid US Visa, and valid ID along with the above requirements. The Embassy will decide whether to issue the visa on a case by case basis. The Embassy may ask the applicant to provide additional documents.

Applicants under the age of 18 (eighteen) MUST provide the following documents in addition to the standard requirements stated above:

Copy of Birth Certificate
Signed Letters of Consent by both parents
Photocopies of the parents’ passports (bio-data page) or valid ID.
